EdX has just released the newest version of the edX Platform on edx.org and edX Edge.

This release includes the following changes.

  • You can now download a report of all learner submissions for a specified problem from the Data Download page of the Instructor Dashboard. Previously, you downloaded this report from the Legacy Instructor Dashboard. For more information about this report, see Student Answer Submissions in the Building and Running an edX Course guide.
  • The drag and drop problem type no longer causes certain option labels to wrap unexpectedly when learners drag those labels onto the problem.
  • Improvements to the Unit page in Studio enhance the accessibility of features on this page. It is now easier to navigate to options in the Add New Component section, and easier to make selections from the list of Advanced component types.
  • When developers install an instance of the Open edX developer stack, the search feature is now enabled by default. For more information, see Enable edX Search.

For more information about the changes in this release and in our previous releases, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all other edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
