Enhancements for course discussions

Several changes were made to improve student and staff experiences with course discussions.

  • When you add a post, you now indicate whether that post is asking a question or starting a discussion. For question posts, responses can be marked as the answer by the author of the post or by a discussion administrator.
  • Controls for all of the actions that you can take on posts, responses, and comments are now together at the top right of each contribution. Improvements have also been made to the appearance of these options, which include Vote, Follow, Report, Edit, and Delete.
  • Informational labels such as “Staff”, "Pinned", and “Following” have also been redesigned and relocated.
